I don't think that is a good comparison your comparing a blower with heating element vs the start up of a electric motor which spikes the amps at startup...
If you have not tried it yet. Check your breaker panel and see if you have a breaker for the converter. If you do, switch it off. Then try running the generator with the AC... Thisis the only way I can get the 11k btu dometic AC in the garage of my toy hauler to run on my Honda eu2000...
