How can you tell that starting current is not the issue? Did you review any of the links?
Don't have to, I read the original post. The unit starts, then goes in to overload after running for a bit. That says one thing- clean the coils.
I know all about compressor starting, ptcr start devices, potential relay start devices, and the theory behind the permanent split capacitor motors and starting.
