Honda eu3000 overload running carrier air v for 5 minutes

I have a carrier air v air conditioner on top of my 16 foot carson fun runner. My honda eu 3000 starts the air conditioner no problem. But after 5 to 7 minutes the generator trips the overload alarm a...

What was your voltage after 3-5 minutes?

Just because it was running doesn't mean it was running with the proper voltage. The Honda's overload circuit is based on output voltage but the cheaper generators don't monitor output voltage like the Honda's.

Just because it runs doesn't mean you fixed your problem.
