Update: Took the Trailer out last weekend. 100 plus degrees, 2900 ft above sea level. Tried everything (breakers, fuses, etc)and the eu3000 would not run a/c for more than 3 to 5 minutes before overload. Hooked up the Trailer to the 3000watt 3500 surge generator I bought at Costco ( http://m.costco.com/Smarter-Tools-3000W-Running3500W-Peak-Portable-Generator-w-Electric-Start-and-Battery,-EPA-and-CARB-Approved.product.100071097.html ). It ran the a/c all afternoon no problem. We were even able to run the microwave at the same time the a/c was running. And a very cold trailer interior. Eu3000 now for sale.
The smarter tools generator was not excessively loud or heavy. Fuel consumption was acceptable. Very impressed.
I have a difficult time believing that you can run a 13.5 btu AC and a 1000/1500 watt microwave at the same time on a chinese $300 generator....BUT maybe you can..... I would suggest you get some kind of voltage meter you could be running that AC on less than 108 volts which will damage it...
