I have purchased a Honda EU3000IS and waiting for delivery. I am a little anxious about it and I want to add a wheel kit to it. I have researched them and found the ones on the market are pretty expensive for what they are. I am a fabricator/welder by trade and I know I can make a wheel kit myself for at least half the cost. Is there anyone out there willing to give me a measurement of the bolt pattern for the rubber isolators on the bottom of the unit? I need distance center to center of bolts, front to back and side to side. As well as the diameter of the bolt.

I can still lift our EU3000 and carry it short distance, but with age (generator age) it feels heavier and heavier, so I think soon I will put 2 wheels on it. The original handle will be good for carting it around and when I play with factory cart at the shop, I was not impressed with 4 wheels.

10" wheels are going to be overkill with 1200lb capacity. Nothing wrong technically, but they are big and take space.
I have those on my pressure washer and also on PWC cart and pumping the air on tire that was flat for a year is quite a hassle.
HERE is solid rubber wheel with 100 lb capacity.

Surplus Center has all sorts of wheels at good prices. These for example look to me like they would be perfectly satisfactory for your use and are $1.29 each (plus shipping, which will probably be more than the wheels).

They've been around for a log time and are a reputable company to deal with. Being (mostly) surplus, of course, the precise selection of parts does vary over time.

Shipping cost is Surplus Center's downfall. Thirteen dollars for two tiny muffin fans was a bit hard to swallow. Same with those surplus parts stores in Florida...
