are honda generators water proof can they be run in the rain
No portable genset of this type is "waterproof" and 2) with your own genset you can do anything you want but should you? - of course not, at least not without some form of protection to keep water away from those electrical outlets. Seems obvious to me. :R - Sam_SpadeExplorer

Yes I've run mine in the rain.
You got lucky.
That doesn't mean that it is a good thing to do.
Also doesn't mean that you should be encouraging others to do it too. - 2oldmanExplorer IIYes I've run mine in the rain.
- TvovExplorer IINo, they are not water proof. If you need to run them in the rain, you can put the gen under the picnic table or similar protection, or (assuming you have are using a pickup truck) you can put the gen under the tailgate of the truck.
Please do NOT run the generator next to the camper under the awning or under the camper - very good chance you will get exhaust into the camper. - MfanExplorerGood question, I think that you'll be shocked with the results
- FizzExplorerThink about it...
You have live AC outlets.
