Wow, just read this thread and it's obvious there's a not a lot of apples to apples comparisons going on.
Take a good look at the Champion 75531i, then take a good, hard look at the Honda EU3000iA "Handi". Notice any similiarities? Take a good look at the Champion's 75531i's specs, then take a good, hard look at the Honda EU3000iA "Handi"'s specs. Notice any similiarities? The specs are nearly identical.
They weigh the same, they look the same, gas consumption is nearly the same, and the NOISE LEVEL specs are nearly the same. The fact is, the Honda EU3000iA "Handi" (along with the Champion 75531i) is 6-7 db louder than its 3000 watt cousin, the 140 lb. Honda EU3000iS at full-load.
The 75531i's street price is about $900. The Honda "Handi" sells for $2299 at wisesales.com.
In an apples to apples comparison, the Champion 75531i comes out smelling more like a rose than one would think :)
