A pair of the EU 2000s are pretty hard to beat. Light enough for most anyone to handle them. Will satisfy most TTs power requirements easily. And as stated, most of the time you only need one. So the fuel savings can add up quickly.. To the point that the second Honda is paid for vs running a larger generator that is consuming more fuel than needed for the required power.
Then there is the redundancy factor of having a backup genny in camp.
Though my Hondas have never failed me, it is comforting to know that I have a backup. Especially since a lot of my camping is done in remote locations, where a failure can really put a crimp in my trip.
I often use one for a week or so, when I like to change the oil. I will just trade gennys out and change the oil at my leisure.
