Horizontal 20 lb. propane tanks.

Okay, now I'm confused. I just got an email ad from a particular RV vendor and they are selling horizontal 20 lb. propane tanks for $157. What is the deal and why would they be so much more expensive than a normal 20 lb. tank? That's on sale, and the "normal" non-sale price is $216! WTH?
  • Looks like a standard nozzle and it says "Automatic stop/fill valve with 1-3/4" ACME connection". It does appear to have a couple mounting brackets, and a fuel level gauge.

It looks like standard tank with a couple brackets welded on. Seems like a lot of money for a couple brackets and a handle. Can't see where that extra $120 comes into play. Guess it's like the million dollar pencils...you only need to sell one.
  • It's all about the economy of numbers.
They sell millions up upright 20# tanks. They only sell a small fraction of that number in the horozontal style.
