Hose between propane tank and regulator?
This may be a dumb question, but can I have any hose between my propane tank and the regulator? My propane compartment is a little tight for hooking up a two stage regulator. If I could have a foot...

Thanks again all. I just went to the shop, and maybe he was confused when we talked on the phone yesterday...
He showed me probably the same 350 psi hose for much cheaper than the $100 hose and said I could use it as a pigtail. He also mentioned a limiting device or something similar if I wanted to add an extra later of protection (I forgot what it's really called, but I think it keeps gas from coming out of the tank at full pressure before it gets to any hoses).
I think the guy is honest, I just think he or I was confused yesterday.
