Alright so I started tracing the wire like you suggested and I came to this mess connected with one of those twist on deals and tapped up. When I hooked each one up individually, normal amp draw at the battery. With both at the same time 10 amps. So I hooked up the one that was the fridge and left the other one disconnected, both tapped up of course. I don't know what that line is running to but I haven't noticed anything else not working yet. Even the compartment lights still function. I assume that is probably not the proper way to hook those three wires together and that's why there is a problem. Suggestions?
The controller for the panels hooks directly to the batteries and is functioning just fine. As you said the fridge is not pulling 10 amps, only 0.335 amps or so.
I feel like I pretty much got this baby licked at this point :B, not much further to go now :) Thanks again for the help.
