Hot Water ...AC and Gas ????

When hooked up to shore power, do you run the hot water heater electric AC AND the propane? Does this afford faster recovery?

This is the first camper I've had with AC element

    That's a good suggestion.

  • Both are fine. Electric at night please, if you run it all night and have neighbors.

My propane heats it much hotter, so I do that 15 minutes before dishwashing.
  • Yes you can do that, especially if you want to get the water heated sooner or there is high usage. Otherwise, you would probably want to just use the AC mode to conserve your LP gas supply.

    Yes. Your choice. ;)
