Hot water heater out of control

Jayco TT 2015 Our water heater has run a muck! It doesn't matter if it is on gas or electric, our water heater has scalding hot water com out of the faucet. Turned it off but it almost seems like it keeps running.I know that's impossible.
LOL. Any info would be a great help. Thanks

    Water coming out of the water heater is very hot normally. You then use the mixer valve to add cold water to make it useable and to allow a 6 or 10 gallon water heater to provide sufficient amount of heated water.

    My guess, stuck thermostat. Or maybe bad control board. Possible also somebody fiddled with that thermostat. Dunno if that is possible. They used to be adjustable but might not be any more.
