The WH would not work this passed week-end. It is a suburban SW10DE, I verified there is power to the rocker switch which is on the outside of the trailer. Inside the trailer is a switch to turn the WH on, when on there is a red light that comes on and stays on during operation. It would not come on at all....I went outside and did 2 things. Placed a ice pick end, in the orfice ever so gently then hit the gas valve with the other end of the pick. The WH started to work. At this point I don't know if the orfice was stopped up or if it was the gas valve.
What causes the light INSIDE to light up under normal conditions? There are 2 solenoids, does one replace them or the gas valve. Thanks
