Despite anything else what you posted.is WAY too much voltage drop between the alternator output terminal and positive battery post. Alternator to battery connections need to be DIRECT with a separate (6) AWG wire or larger. Again right from the alternator output terminal to a appropriate size fuse near the engine then on to a management device right to a bus bar. This means having TWO wires connected to the output stud of the alternator
There is too much voltage loss in a chassis connection unless you have a newer vehicle with factory 6-gauge chassis wiring connecting the alternator to the chassis power split which is usually made within the factory chassis wiring harness. Use the alternator output stud as a starting point. It will make all the difference in the world charging-wise.
