Given the hydrometer is rendereing correctly (temperature) keep the battery under the lash until cells read 1.280
Part B is keeping your fingers crossed that the battery does not revert to its evil ways, soon. The higher quality the battery, the less inclined it will be to immediately start sagging bit-by-bit back to lower specific gravity without thermonuclear charging.
I agree with NinerBikes. You have to come up with whatever suits you to get away from constant 50-90 or 55-95% cycling.
I am most curious to learn if Deka batteries are made better than Johnson Controls, US Battery, and Exide cheapos. Trojan has a better car-jar cyclable battery but their price makes my knees wobble. I wish all of you could experience a top quality flooded L/A battery like a Rolls battery. Again with a jaw-dropping price tag.
Note the weak-sister cell on each of your batteries. They will be your go-to cells. On my bank I can dip the cell and be done in under a minute.
Good luck. Let's hope the battery vendor can shed a tear over this.
