there was no fire as far as I know, but I only bought it over the summer. there seems to even be a wire running down to the lower end of the block, it may even be connected to the alternator and I was just misinformed(or misheard). do I check this by starting it and using a volt meter? I might actually just have to connect the new battery/100amp fuse and inverter. I bought a new battery tray as well because it looks sketchy.
