House Battery Life

Thanks for all the prompt replies!
Dakota98 - no equalization charge - didn't know of such a thing
until you mentioned it. Turns out the Charge Wizard in
my PD9260 converter is supposed to do equalization every 21
hours - so it says.
pianotuna - batteries were never fully discharged or even close
beemerphile1 - First indication was that Onan 5.5kw generator
wouldn't turn over so - auto parts store
performed "load test" and determined batteries
were "dead" & needed to be replaced. I was
already leaning in that direction from my
troubleshooting of the generator not starting.
Replaced with another set of Energizers from Sam's because of
weekend availability more than price - local Trojan dealer not
open on Sat or Sun. Generator Starts Now! If this set also dies a
quick death, I WILL BUY TROJANS next time!!!

since we started the RV life!!!
