For the future with your new batteries, it may be helpfull to have a bit more information regarding their care & feeding. The "equalization" that I spoke of takes place above 14.4 volts up to about 16.0 volts. I believe the newer converters with charge wizard are actually designed that way for a reason & Mexico or anybody else can chime in here if I'm incorrect. So, I have to disagree with
pianotuna (replacing converter)in this case. Most AGM battery manufacturers do not recommend a higher charging voltage above 14.4 max. Since the RV manufacturer does not know what type of battery will be used by the consumer, a safety feature, if you will, has been pre-determied as to not harm a AGM, if used.
