House Battery Selection

Good Evening everyone.
I know it is like asking if you like Chevy or Ford but I need 4 new house batteries. I have always used and loved Trojan but am having a problem getting them. The local supplier has the T145 plus but not the original T145. He sells the hydration system but not the batteries that go with it. Go figure. The plus has 3 tops and the original T145 had a single top. After over 4 weeks of waiting I am looking at another battery. Can anyone recommend another make of battery that would be as good or better? As I said everyone has their favorite but am hoping for a consensus.

    We're getting good service out of our Interstate golfcart batteries, whether they're on the same level as Trojans is something I can't justify since I haven't used Trojans in the past. It is true that some batteries have a better track record, but even the best battery made needs to be properly wired, maintained, and charged which often is the real culprit in terms of reduced lifespan.

    You may want to google golf car repair shops in your area. That is where we buy our batteries. Good luck.
