What you are experiencing is normal. I see no need to have your batteries checked or to do anything more than regular inspecting and cleaning of terminals. It is not an indication of a problem if the batteries are not in the high 12's with no load. It depends on the charge state of the batteries as to what they will read with no load. Only if they have been recently charged should they be in the high 12's. Enjoy your camping and don't be concerned about what you are experiencing.
