I find that the true AH capacity of my batts is a moveable feast, especially with ambient temps changing a lot.
So when I got my new Trimetic a few years ago, I ignored setting the "three things" (gasp)
I still get the volts, amps, and accumulated AH, which is what you really need. To determine if the AH agrees with the "morning voltage" I use the usual voltage/SOC figures, and my own idea of battery bank AH capacity from the ambient temp, using the usual graphs for that.
I programmed it to not auto re-set the AH as they advise if you have solar (good advice!)
If you are camping at ambient 32-40F or 72-90F you need to be on top of what is really going on.
So iaw, their standard blurb on setting those "three things" and their whole idea of "full" as being more like 97% SOC is a bunch of BS IMO. However, I love my Trimetric, depend on it *almost* totally, but I am running it; it is not running me!
