Mostly I want to make sure what is going on when I read the meter. The only thing, as you said, I'll really want are the volts, amps and accumulated amps. If the converter is charging the battery, though, I expect to see more then .01 amps. That's really not doing anything. If its in float or maintenance mode, and that's a normal reading, then no sweat. I know converters aren't great at charging batteries. But with no experience, I'm being cautious.
And since it seems some of the readings are reset only when the battery reaches a chard paged condition - by the meters definition - then if I programmed it incorrectly, the meter may never read the battery as charged.
I'd like to know sometimes how many AH beneath full the battery is currently.
