Houston Trailer Maintenance - Wasps & Mud Daubers??

Good morning all. I'm a Canadian that has moved to Houston this summer. My house has wasp nests and mud dauber "nests" in many location. I'm wondering what I should be doing for preventative ...

Screen over the furnace exhaust, knock the nests down in water heater and fridge back panels, and run an ice pick up the fridge’s condensate drain.
