From actual experience, the only way you'll PD 55 amps from a Honda 1000 is to turbocharge it first.
Mine would not run the PD 55 amps (analog meter) And it better be warmed up to run the PD 45 amps (same analog meter)
And as I've posted before, my 1000 is connected to the converter ONLY.
But it never was a problem w/ the PD55 to drop a gear on the wizard for a few minutes.
This has been hashed a zillion times, but always has the same answer.
