The power in figure is AC volts x AC amps. So an AC voltmeter and an AC ammeter for that.
I don't know the Kill a watt meter, but road-runner's figures from his are sure confusing. Also I don't know how it can get the PF of a load by reading the AC input side. How does it know the load's output? I suppose it has a manual that explains how it works that would take some very careful reading!
