I have a Champ 3500/4000, do you have 4x4 low? You gonna need it if you are going to hear our generator. I would also have to take it with me, maybe on a extended trip.
Anyways...I figure it will push a Power Max 120a at 10,000 ft. I know the parallax 7300 55a converter put enough of a load on the generator that I couldn't run the air at the same time. I could run both after a hour or so but even then it's pushing the Champ too far, it sounds sick right on the verge of overloading. Down here in Denver, meh who cares.
That might be a concept to consider when planning on pushing your generator to the limit for charging. It doesn't take nearly as much to push your generator to its limits as you climb, leave a cushion
