Unless he's lucky, they won't be fully charged. When I bought my batts, only one was even close to fully charged even though two of them had the same dates and were only a few weeks old. The other two were two months old and at a lower SOC than the newer pair. It took more than letting them sit on a charger to get them all to a fully charged state. Falconman doesn't have time to get these up to speed so he'll just have to see how it goes.
Here's what I had to do to get them all fully charged. Most of what I did is in the first post. EDIT: SG on my batts is higher now because they're broken in.
