Pull a snippet of cured GOOP apart and after six inches or so it will snap back. Something NO OTHER ADHESIVE will do. If you do not need transparency, sand the surfaces with 400 grit, and adhesion will advance to near insane level. I've never found another adhesive like it. It actually fixes shoes. A slopped a patch over a hole the size of a quarter in a pair of sandals and it lasted six months of daily wear.
