How many hours on Onan Generator? Need help asap!

My Onan generator died. A new one is about 6K installed. I found a used one that supposedly has 200 hours on it, but no hour meter. Is there a way to determine how many hours are on the unit? It had a...

Sorry, without having the hr meter there simply is no way to determine the amount of hrs the gen was run.

I would suggest that you find a way to have them DEMONSTRATE that the gen starts/runs AND MAKES ELECTRICITY.

Otherwise RUN as fast as you can away from it.

It isn't a good deal if it is dead as a door stop...
