How many hours on Onan Generator? Need help asap!

My Onan generator died. A new one is about 6K installed. I found a used one that supposedly has 200 hours on it, but no hour meter. Is there a way to determine how many hours are on the unit? It had a...

I agree. With no way to verify hours, it is just not worth the price. Kind of like buying a car with no odometer.
