Hi Korbe,
6.37 is not fully charged, but your system is working well.korbe wrote:
I let the battery sit over night without any charge or use and tested the next morning. The meter read 6.37v. That tells me my batteries recharged from 50 to 100 percent in that 8 hours of driving. Not scientific, nor perfect, but the batteries are 8 years old and still working fine.
Well, 6.37v (12.74 for 12v) is as high as my batteries charge. And with my limited knowledge, I read that anything over 12.6v was considered 100-percent. And for me, I wanted to know if I can use my batteries for another 6 or7 days after 8 hours of driving. I think I can, maybe. :)
