In my 19 year old Norcold 683, all I get when the weather is over 90 degrees is 5 degrees in freezer and 40 degrees in the fridge with the setting on 5 or max.
If it cools down outside overnight then in the morning the temps will get down to
2 and 36 on max. I think your unit is working normally for an old Norcold. when the temps run 80-85 during the day and cools down to 60 at night, the temps run 0 and 35 with the setting on 3.5.
Over 40 years and three different vehicles, the temps run about the same.
