How to clean up a leak?

Lucky me, found a wet spot in the back corner of the RV today. Just wondering how you all have cleaned up the mess. I can put a small heater in to dry it out. Wondering what chemicals or cleaning stuff would be best to clean the carpet. I am pretty sure this is new so hopefully there is no damage to the floor.

It stormed really bad last weekend while camping. I think it may have come in around the slide, but will go tomorrow and make sure the caulking around the window, light and roof are good.
  • I will try to get it dried out tomorrow. What should I use to clean the carpet? I would like there to be no staining left if possible.
  • In addition to wet vac and fans .. consider heater and dehumidifier or dehumidifying crystals. You goal is to dry out - sooner the better.
  • I agree with GENECOP, use a vac to suck up the water, then a fan or dehumidifier.

Is it just wet or, is that mold?
I can't tell from the picture.
  • Try a good wetvac....suck up the water, then a fan.....most likely everything will be fine, just FIND THAT LEAK....
