How to cover a recess mounted Olympian Wave heater?

I was thinking of using hog clips but then you have the problem of losing them so why not use snap clips. the males have a screw you screw into cabinet then use a female to snap to the males. just have a shop make you a cover to snap in place. wish I could send you a picture but I know I would mess that up. they are the kind of snaps they use on boat covers and tops to clip to the windshields of boats.
