How to determine rating of a new converter panel?

If I were to upgrade our basic WFCO converter to one of the good ones like PD, how do you determine the rating to use? 45, 60, 70 or 80 amps? Is bigger better? We don't dry camp and don't discharge...

Probably because a lot of RV manufacturers install equipment to meet the bare minimum capacity. It's almost always wise when replacing O.E.M. to upgrade. ;)
