How to determine rating of a new converter panel?

If I were to upgrade our basic WFCO converter to one of the good ones like PD, how do you determine the rating to use? 45, 60, 70 or 80 amps? Is bigger better? We don't dry camp and don't discharge...

No sense putting Goodyear Blue Streaks on a shopping cart...

I would stick to an identically rated charger which was designed by an engineering team who does not require eternal medication with Thorazine. i.e. having a rational float voltage.
