How to fit 4gauge wire in 6gauge terminals?
I'm adding another solar panel and upgrading the wire on my solar install. I have quite a bit of 4gauge wire that I was planning on running to the roof but now I notice my controller only accepts 6ga...

Are you using solid #4 wire? File it down with a grinder.
If it is stranded, then cut off a couple of strands, until it fits. Unless you are actually running more than 40 amps through the wire, it is possible to cut it down to #8 size with no voltage loss.
