Do yourself a favor and get some solar panels and four 6 volt GC batteries.
We just got home from a four month trip to the southwest and we were unplugged for over 100 days. We have three 160 watt panels, four 6 volt batteries, and a 2,000 watt inverter. We also carry a Honda 2000i generator but the only time I used it was the first month when it was raining so much.
