I just picked up 4x GC2 (golf batteries) at Costco for 83.99 each last weekend.
A pair will give you 210 amp hours or double that AGM.
WFCO is a trickle charge but without a generator it does not matter. WFCO will be adequate if you get plugged in.
Alternator? Just get some jump cables and run battery to battery with the vehicle running. This is a bit of a crutch. Still going to take a few hours of idling to get a decent charge into a low battery.
Solar takes some effort but for the price of a generator AND converter I think you could get 200+ watts self installed and would really work well.
