I think that the Trojans are the best but the value is in a Costco or Sam's Club 6V GC battery.
I used two Costco 6V batteries for eight years and when I replaced them they were still good but I was nervous about their age.
I an not particularly gentle with my batteries. I check the fluid about twice a year. They stay on the trailer in storage for up to six months with no charger attached.
The Trojan's cost about twice as much so would have to more than 16 years to beat the Costco batteries.
