You can get 6v golf cart batteries for less than $100 each
Check Costco, sans club, etc..
You need a generator even a small harbor freight $100 special will charge batteries
I know what tight money means, but if anything more than $200 jeopardizes your plans, then you might need to change your plans, just losing a tire could cost you that much or more, engine water pump, radiator over heat ?

TRIPLE A, good Sam, coach net, something..will be the best insurance you ever have
Surplus aka Re-purposed AGM Telco/server batteries are a fantastic value if you can find any in Florida
Check Craigslist under RV, marine, or solar to find them
They are bigger heavier and more powerful, than anything you can buy at the auto parts store, recharge faster
