Switching fridge to propane and turning off the electric hot water heater when your not planning on using it (at night for example) will go a long way to eliminating unexpected outages. This is what I do when connecting to friends house who have old/limited electric setups. Connecting your green house heater directly to shore power pedestal may help depending on how the pedestal is wired.
