How to remove decor self leveling sealant from roof

How do I remove Dicor self leveling sealant from roof without damaging the rubber roof. I replaced the crank up antenna with a Jack antenna so there was some sealant from that antenna the the Jack antenna replaced that and it got knocked off by a wayward limb. Then the replacement antenna got knocked off by a branch so there is 3 layers of sealant. Once I get the Dicor off the rubber what is a safe way to remove the residue plus around the crank hole the rubber is coming loose from the roof what should I use to re glue the rubber?
  • Use a metal putty knife that you can hold and when you push down at an angle, the blade will bend flat against the membrane, and move flat blade part just above the membrane (hope that makes sense).
You may leave an old thin layer of old sealant.
Try to get enough old stuff started so that you can grab and pull up as the blade is cutting thru underneath.
If the membrane is stretching as you are cutting, come in at the different angle or direction to prevent the membrane from stretching.
Use the acetone sparingly, to clean.

I bought a set of the red plastic putty knives from Lowes and rounded the sharp corners off so they did not gouge the roof. Hot day works great, or heat the dicor up with a heat gun. Hard to get off when it's cold.
