It worked! I put on my rubber-palmed gardening gloves, just in case they shattered and I went slowly but after a LOT of pushing they finally gave way and out they came! Thank you!!!
Now...what wattage do I get to replace them? If it was ever printed on the bulb it's been burned over and it's not on the brass fitting at the bottom of the bulb. All it says there is: 4076 China.
