Thank you, everyone, for your suggestions and advice! I took the bulb to 5 different auto-parts stores (including NAPA) and one mom/pop hardware store that usually carries everything under the sun...all to no avail. I then took a morning to drive to the nearest RV Repair lot. Lo and behold....they had the 1076 bulbs and they told me that those would work. Brought them home (I bought a second package as a spare for the next time this happens!) and installed them and they work! Light has been restored over the table and it is good!
