It is too easy! You can plug your shore power cord into a 150w inverter or any size like a 3000w inverter that is clamped/connected to your battery bank.
You do need to cut the 120v to the converter soon after you plug the shore cord into the inverter or lose a bunch of AHs in a hurry, but you won't break anything.
Having solved that, just don't run 120v things that either:
A-- the inverter can't handle (it will overload alarm without damage if you do), or
B--if the inverter can handle it, it will drain the batteries too much/too fast
You don't have to turn various breakers off. Just don't turn things on that will screw things up. Same as don't plug high-draw things into the receptacles that will screw things up when you leave the receptacles' breaker on so you can watch TV.
(Unless you need to go to extremes because your kids or DW can't grasp the concept)
