You can use this kind of thing. You can find them cheaper than this but this was the first one that came up on the search. We use them in Canada for Block heaters, cab heaters etc. Make sure it has three prongs and is a higher current model, usually called an appliance remote control or something like that. Don't lose the remote. :)
