I installed a hardwired inverter for 2 TVs and sound system (and misc small electronics). It is a GIANT 300w inverter.
I installed 120v receptacles of a different color adjacent to the shore power receptacles. When I have shore power, my devices are plugged into shore power receptacles; no shore power - inverter receptacles.
Really simple and idiot proof (which is important in my case).
