How to Work Hydro-Flame BRC10 Controls? Update #2

Counter clockwise
There should be a short line cast into the body of the valve. Turn the valve clockwise and it should stop where the bar is lining up with "off"
If the knob turns all the way around, the serrated points on it could be bad or the valve has frozen up internally and needs to be replaced. Remove screw from knob and check.
